Are the EBII devs aware of the AI mods already available ? This one looks good (by seeing the comments, I couldn't test):

Well, that was posted in late 2007 I think. I have no doubt the team will be looking into making the Ai perform its best for them. I know Broken Crescent had a very good AI (for the mood of the mod anyway). We will have to wait and see.
Completed Campaigns:
Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
Current Campiagns:
Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria

Hmm... nothing harsh against BC as I love that mod but I hope its not used as basis for any AI. That best thing about it is fast turn times but otherwise some other AI mods give much more challenge.
I wouldn't be surprised if the EB team modded (or in the process of modding) the AI themselves. They seem to like to do everything from scratch so that they can make it work specifically for EB.
Yeah, I think they said something about that earlier, can't remember when and where though. Making things from scratch sounds like a good idea, I mean what works for one mod might not work for another.
BAI probably isn't that different between mods as the basic mechanics of morale and command are the same- the best BAI mods still only make the AI a challenge in a few battles and have taken hundreds of hours of testing, would be a shame to have EB team repeat all that. CAI is where I hope EB team spends most of its time and effort if building from scratch.
The only time I've seen good AI battles is in mediumish sized reinforcement army battles which are highly chaotic.
Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.

Seems no one from the team answered this, we are thinking of using Germanicus's ReallyBadAI and tweaking it for our purposes.
