But what happens if the line insults us first? May we cross it then?

Aaaaaaaanyways, a few orders short, but that's just too bad at this point. Writeups started, if you wanna spam me with an order while I'm writing I guess I'd take it.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Probably seeing delays because it's the weekend. Regardless, I'm glad Day 1 is about to begin, now that we've got our voting out of the way.

"So what happened that night, granpa?" the young girl asked. The elderly man shook his head. "That night, pumpkin, started the test for everyone. For Heaven, for the Netherworld, for everyone supporting Angra Mainyu. Only the bravest were going to make it through. But that night, yes... that night..."

That night, following Mainyu's announcement, Visorslash sat himself down at the corner of a small shack. He, personally, was baffled by Mainyu. Why would he give his opponents the chance to strike first? It had to be a hoax, then. No real invading enemies. Question, then, would be why to sequester so many of his followers within walking distance of the palace? He turned his gaze up to the dark street. So eerily quiet, for such an immense city. There was not a sound from any human or god or demon. Just a.... what was that, anyways? A faint... tapping? Not quite the right word, but maybe close enough. He peered his head around the other corner, and it was there he saw quite a sight. Someone was riding atop a peacock, with a lance couched for a joust. Visorslash stood up slowly with an uncertain look to his face. The peacock was picking up speed. Visorslash immediately wheeled around to the other street and began a sprint. After a second or two, he looked back, to see the peacock sprinting around it with unnatural speed and agility. Visorslash poured every ounce of his adrenaline, picking up every bit of speed he could. One second later, he felt a cool sensation through his chest. He looked down, a second as though a lifetime, to see a lance head was piercing through. Before he knew it, the peacock gave an almighty kick, the lance had withdrawn, and Visorslash was face down in the dirt, the sparkling blue-green bird atop him. The rider gazed down, and ended Visorslash once and for all with a lance thrust to the head.

Atop a nearby roof, a woman shook her head. Her simple, tan robe fluttered slightly in the wind. “Truly, we were correct. Savages.” With that, she opened pearly wings, and jumped from her position. Wings spread, she dove down upon the peacock rider. At the last second, he heard the ruffle of wings, turning just in time to see his attacker before she was upon him. She turned herself feet first, landing atop the rider and sending him rolling, off his steed. He recomposed himself, only to see the woman sitting atop his own peacock! “It is only fitting,” she whispered. “You have taken so much from us... It is time to exact punishment.” The peacock rider gave a roar of rage, and rushed her with his lance. She stared him down, and as he thrust the lance at her, she seized it with her right hand, stopping it a few inches from her face. “Enough.... enough.” She twisted her right wrist, and snapped the lance head clean off. She jumped from the peacock, grabbing the remains of the lance with her right, holding the splintered lance head with the other. Wrenched her left and, and yanked the lance away completely, whirling the base around sweeping it under Tratorix' feet. Her foe decked, she immediately leaped down, pinning her left fore arm against his throat. She brought down the lance head with her right hand into his face, again and again. She did not relent until there was not a single recognizable feature to it. Then, lastly, she lifted her forearm up, and slowly sliced at the neck, taking pleasure in rendering it apart.....

Tincow sat meditating in his temporary abode. It wasn't as nice as his usual house in Babylon, but it wasn't a hovel, at least. And, it was at least away from the main road. Even with so many crammed in a relatively small area, he found some peace. A knock on the door interrupted it. He ignored it for a second, then sighed. Oh well. He was halfway to the door when the knock was made again. “I'm coming, I'm coming...” he said. He was squeezing the knob when a thump was heard on the other side, the door flying off hinges, sending TinCow to the floor. A woman walked through the frame, a satin dress hardly concealing a layer of bronze scale armor. She held a curved saber in her right hand.

“Making a lady wait like that, so rude! Where did you learn manners? Not that I suppose it matters much now, does it?” TinCow scrambled backwards in a panic, only to find himself up against the back wall. The woman jumped to his position, holding the saber to his throat. “You're finished... traitor.” With a clean slice, TinCow's head was severed.

God Emperor was wandering the streets. He didn't much like the idea of having to live in some new place. Either way, sleep was unlikely. Besides, it was a clear, warm night. So much nicer than it was in the daytime. He turned around the corner to a new street, and saw what seemed to be an enormous human male in the middle of the street. It seemed to have been walking down, holding in one hand an axe of astronomical proportions. The haft had to be eight feet long, the double-edged head perhaps four feet. The man's eyes lit up upon seeing God Emperor. With his off hand, the man pointed. “God or Demon, I care not. You have brought ruin to me and my people! NOW YOU DIE!” God Emperor scoffed a bit. This mortal thinks he can kill me? The man moved at God Emperor, running at an incredible pace, and wildly swung the axe. God Emperor instinctively ducked the blow, the axe going just over his head and plowing into the house next to him. The axe ripped apart the brick and mortar as though it were papyrus. God Emperor's eyes went wide. Perhaps it would be wisest to play this safe. He took off at a run as the man swung his axe downwards, missing again and creating a gash in the street. The man howled, and went round the corner of the house. God Emperor was already in the distance, and wheeled down a dark ally. The man roared in frustration, and smashed his axe once more into the street before stalking off.

"And so, they have struck," Angra Mainyu announced the next day in his throne room. You were all in a fairly small area, so naturally, one of you must have seen something. Whoever they are, hand me the treacherous agents! We shall give them a slow and painful demise. Drop by drop, agent by agent. They shall know the terror of my hand slowly closing around their throats. Now, at it! You must know! Give me an agent!"

Alright. Very interesting for a first night.

Tratorix was the rider on the peacock (Chocobo? probably not ^^). He killed Visorslash and was in turn killed by the pearly lady.

That means either Tratorix was a vigilante or serial killer that was then killed by the Mafia or he was Mafia and was then killed by a vig or sk.
The lady that killed him said “Truly, we were correct. Savages.” I think it might be a hint that she is with the Gods/Netherworld Mafia that is talking about the followers of Angry Mainyu but it sure needs further analysis.

Visorslash, TinCow and GodEmperor were probably all town:
    • Visorslash was "baffled by Angra Mainyu", meaning he was a follower.
    • TinCow has a regular house in Babylon plus the killer calls him "traitor" so he was probably one of the Gods/Demons who betrayed the heavens/Netherworld to join the forces of Mainyu.
    • GodEmperor doesn't like the idea of living in a new place which could hint at him having another place in the town too or being a traitor who recently joined the ranks of Mainyu. It could of course also mean that he was with the Mafia who just recently arrived but I think it's unlikely. If there is investigators maybe they should target him the next night to be sure of him.

So if Tratorix killed Visorslash, a townie, he was probably Mafia or a sk. This could mean the pearl lady is on the town's side but we shouldn't draw conclusions too quickly.

Also, weird kill choices. Visor could be trusted to suck up a lynch at some point and TinCow could also have been used as lynch bait, given his track record in Netherworld games. It's also a very high profile kill. Could hint at newcomers, although that's unlikely. More likely is that it might be someone who hasn't played Netherworld I. Unfortunately that's a lot of people.

Man I hate getting killed night one. You'd have to be a real jerk to kill someone on night one.
