Ironside slumped slumped up to the door of his residence. The day had seemed so long compared to the rest. Perhaps it was the sheer amount of idle chatter that made it stretch so long. Regardless, he inserted his key into the door, and twisted. The key stuck in place. He jangled it more, but to no avail.

“Having trouble?” Ironside whipped around. A bearded man, in a strange green robe was only a foot behind him.

“How? What?” Ironside stuttered out. He hadn't heard anyone approaching.

“Your door won't open, will it?” Ironside shook his head. The man nodded in response. “Good, it seems everything's in order. In a flash, he delivered a punch to Ironside's gut. Ironside felt a sharp, scraping agony in his midsection. Grasping down, he felt a blade in the man's hand. Equally quick, the man pulled back, and brought the blade down on a hunched-over Ironside.

GeneralHankerchief was sitting on his roof for the night, enjoying the cool night air. A rest was in good order. He let his legs hang out over the edge of the roof and swing free. He closed his eyes, breathing deeply. Without warning, he felt his stomach lurch, and an iron grip on his right ankle. He tumbled down as someone yanked him down from his perch. He hit the ground with a solid thud, on his back. A dark haired woman in bronze scale towered above him, and plunged a sword downwards. GH wrenched his chest to the right, and the sword just nicked his left forearm. The woman raised the blade once more.

“AAAAAAARG!” she screamed as an arrow pierced her right hand, forcing the sword to drop. With his opportunity, GH scampered up to see his savior. A human man stood down the alley, a long wild mane reaching down his back He pulled an axe from his belt as he approached the woman.

“Run!” he screamed at GH. “I will take care of her!”

With a snarl, the woman ripped the arrow from her hand, and picked up her sword. The two charged each other, weapons raised. The man raised his axe for an overhand swing, while the woman sliced her curved weapon upwards. The two weapons grazed each other on the way past, sparks flying. The man lurched forward with his left shoulder, throwing his fist out. The woman slid to her left, twirling, bringing her blade down on the man's ankle. With a cry of agony, his right leg gave way. Without warning or hesitation, the woman leveled her sword at Andres' neck, and sliced his head off with one clean strike. The woman straightened up, scanning for any sight of GH, but he was long gone....

Nah, at least not sure enough to pursue this now. I was probably aiming at a townie there. Seon is a better target today. His votes have been easy targets all game and his reasoning has been shoddy at best, I'd like him to talk about that.

I'd like to know if the big guy with the big axe has revealed to anybody in the network. Is he willing to work with the town?
I'm afraid we lost one of our doctors last night and we'd need any help we can get.

I don't think so. With the guy this turn there was no mention that he was insanely huge or the huge size of his axe. He had it at his belt. Also the axe guy we've seen so far has never used bows and arrows. I think Andres was a doctor who got taken out by a mechanic similar to Herakles vs. doctors in Netherworld 1.

But maybe the limited description is to not give away the axe guy's death, we'll see if he shows up again :)

Also, we now have two people who have been targetted by the mafia and survived... Protectors seem to make some lucky picks this time around

Yeah just that the protector died this time. I hope GH's life was worth that.

It's weird though, because if the mafia woman ordered to kill GH, and by luck Andres ordered to protect him, how's Andres' death explained?

I hope so, otherwise it would implicate Axe Guy having a second ability, which doesn't make me feel very comfortable. Unless he just forgot to send in orders... but since Murphy's Law is almost always invoked in mafia games, I'd say it's a second ability.

And in related news, I'm considering changing my user title to Captain Obvious.

I'm sorry Andres died to protect me, he obviously had a role and I'm not anything special. That said, I wouldn't mind it if I continued to receive protection for the rest of the game...

No, I'm voting you because your behavior is off. Also, because I think you're displaying a case of PIS in regards to my attempted murder writeup.

I'm going to continue recommend glyphz though.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Nobody seems to want TLD lynched just yet, I guess that will have to wait a few rounds.
Rather than have my vote wasted I will vote for another good alternative before I go to the movies.

    Vote: Glyphz

I'll be back in 3-4 hours, depending on how long the movie and the drive is.
