EB application crashing while trying to run it...

Especially the Eb1.1 installer takes long to load (as it is a big thing), be patient (up to 10 minutes).
There were some reports that after a given Microsoft update was installed the installer took hours to load up, so be sure to have an updated Windows.

If everything fails, install EB on your laptop and copy and paste it to your desktop PC, afterwards uninstall it. Use a shortcut to load EB.

I had the same issue when I tried to install EB (I am also a Vista user, so it may be a Vista problem), whenever I tried to run the 1.1 installer it would crash the computer, though the 1.2 installer would be fine

For me, this was easily solved simply by running the 1.1 installer in safe mode
