This game is a vanilla game and all roles are accounted for in the rules. There are no secret roles or hidden surprises whatsoever.
The write-ups are just that: write-ups. I also like players being creative with their orders and if I can make a story around creative orders, I will.

Well, he wasn't really analysing it, he was just expressing surprise and confusion overright: As far as I understand then we are dealing with a vanilla game. I did forget that when I first posted, because there seemed to be 3 attacks this night. This is what Cahoma comments on. I have no intentions on discouraging writeup analysis, so that has not been on purpose. I do however not see the purpose of analysing on something that can not get us any closer to anything at this point. As far as I see then we have observed 3 attackers and that's it. We need more samples to understand the nature of these attacks. That is what I mean when I say that there is no point in addressing this.
the 'doubled' attack on Pizza. Why were there two different attacks on Pizza? A serial killer AND mafia?
EDIT: Host's confirmation makes the ruminations below irrelevant.
But now I have to point out that, according to the posted rules, there are only 2 kills per night - Mafia and SK.
For this to have been a third attacker (the one who attacked Pizza), would require the introduction of a host of new mechanics: a third killer, or a second Mafia kill, that the agent of which isn't required to use nightly, and the possibility of attack failure.
Maybe we could say that the other mafioso, Dmitri, who was missing from the Mafia kill writeup this time, is Pizza's attacker, but it would mean the host has kept quite a fee things hidden from us. Also, why in the world would Mafia use two kills on the same person? This ain't Capo, boys.

There are alot of comments about bandwaggoning and the whole thread does bear review, as I am still unsure as to why Sasaki is convinced about Ishmaels guilt, though I'm assuming Ishmaels neck is currently on the line because people are following Sasaki's capitalised orders.
I'm not sure why he's certain of my guilt either. I'm going to have to do something I don't like here - I don't really think that Skooma Addict is scum, but I'm 100% certain that I'm not scum, so statistically my best move here is to unvote, vote: Skooma Addict.
Well. Looking back through the thread, you've posted more than anyone, every post you've made has been 'jokey' in some way, and your responses to accusation has been quite deliberately nonchalant, so - yeah - that plus your self-preservation vote on Skooma make you look scummier than anyone else at present.
I've read the N2 write-up a few times now: The writing style seems to change throughout, particularly the hit on 'Pizza that actually succeeds, but I don't know anyone's style on the forum yet so... that evidence is better left to a veteran to examine.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
@Sasaki
1) Why Ishmael?
2) Where is this small game you're sposed to be running right now?
LazyMcCrow, frankly I have become more nonchalant since Capo. I used to think of mafia games these size as being very big and terrifying, but in comparison to Capo it's more of a relaxing break. I'm not saying this to diminish the game at all Andres - this is just as fun, and your write-up's have been great, but it's a lot less involved than Capo, and allows me to sit back and relax a bit more.
EDIT: Sasaki's (meant to be) running a small game? Where? I crave more mafia!![]()

Slightly off topic, but have you been mafia in any games yet Montmorency?
I've only been a wiseguy in Capo.

Nope. Closest was Communist in Capo, but that's more town-aligned.
Stop this metagaming stuff! :)
Back t subject:
vote: God Emperor, because IMO it is always in town's interest to discuss setting - it may cause mafia to get caught by 'PIS'. Therefore, God Emperor's comment is scummy.
Perfect information syndrome.
It basically means that scum will know more about what is going on, than what the town knows, and that can result in a scum revealing perfect knowledge/guess, that a town should not be able to make with the available public information.

thanks for the explanation.
I've read the thread again and Ishmael does indeed seem to pong the most - if your nochalance turns out to be genuine, I apologise in advance.
vote: Ishmael
I accept your apology in advance. One of these days, people will learn to recognise my style and stop lynching me for it. One of these days....
Haha, good one.
Oh they've harmed it a lot. Go and see Mafia X. And even if the lurkers aren't scum, the lurking itself warrants a lynch. Death to lurkers!
Anyway, back to this game. Sasaki, could you please provide some reasoning. Even if you're dead you can say more than "Kill Ishmael".
Well guys, I'm about to go to bed and I expect I'll be dead in the morning, so I just have some final words for you:

Why are we voting Ishmael?
Vote: Beskar ... because... random brain says so...
returning to the shadows.....
You can try I suppose, but I imagine I'd be a bit scrawny.
I'm voting for Ishmael because,
a) having read the thread, nearly every post Ishmael makes is super-nonchalant/scummy as hell
&
b) Sasaki Kojiro - who is dead - told us too. Repeatedly.
Yeah? Give a few examples.
Fixed that for yab) Sasaki Kojiro - who isdeadalways scum - told us too. Repeatedly.
Now, listen, I have as much respect for Sasaki's skills and status as a Gameroom legend as everyone else but just saying "kill that guy" won't do it. Even Sasaki will have to put some more effort into this.
This seems like a lousy reason to vote for God Emperor. There's no point in discussing the setting as we know it already. That and God Emperor didn't even display "Public information syndrome" yet alone "Perfect information syndrome".
Vote: LazyMcCrow No need to bandwagon when there is no good reason for the bandwagon.
Yes, now we well know that there is nothing to discuss, but at the moment of God Emperors post it was not evident. Therefore, I still think his post is scummy.
I also never implied that he was displaying 'PIS'. I was just saying that his behavior lessens chance that someone else would display it
Why should he? He is dead and therefore: Not scum. I asked him to elaborate myself already today with no response as yet, but I've got no problem with a player who has been killed shifting the onus of uncovering the killers identities onto the players who remain alive! If he's good enough to point the finger at who he thinks it is that's a bonus in my book.
Its entirely possible that the mafia and SK are lurking right now, but I'm of the opinion that a lynch needs to be made, and that there are various posts that Ishmael has made that seem more than a tad suspicious
" Visor can always get away with it somehow. In Capo he was making the most outrageously scummy comments, yet nobody suspected him. I really wish I had his abilities. "
and
" I think edse just has a bit to learn about acting innocent. It's necessary to do so all the time, even when you're a townie (especially when you're a townie); a lesson I learnt the hard way."
Those are two that stuck out for me. There are plenty more.
I just voted for the person I think is most likely to be scum. Seems a better reason than just hitting random.org. - bandwagon or not.
