I was thinking of this the past couple days. The first time I ever been introduced to the Lifetime Achievement Award was in late 2006 when Tomisama was presumed to retired from MP life. While He was never awarded this, I was thinking that award should always have been brought back.
When I was at exile at TWC in 2009 (I was active then since late 2008, more time after I was banned in mid 2009), I lost 3 people at TWC I was particular fond of destiple the levels of contact we had, Calvin,Blackomur89 and Binshuy. Calvin ran the Eagle Standerd which is like the TWC version of the GAHzette for .Org. I had the pleasure of working under him when I was content staff at TWC, which is similiar I guess to the content staff/mangers we have here now at .Org. They made a award I believe for Calvin for the 2009 HOF not to long afterwards, and started to award it to people + I think they posthumously awarded him it also.
I think we should start handing out the Lifetime Achievement Award every year ago, perhaps rename it in honor of TosaInu. I think we should hand it out twice this year at the upcoming HOF, once to TosaInu posthumously and once to a another deserving member of this forum, SP,MP Modding.
My 2 cents for what's it's worth.
