EB application crashing while trying to run it...

Hello,

I've downloaded EB around 3 times and every time I try to open it in my downloads Windows Explorer crashes, I've tried to look for an answer but I couldn't find one, I hope someone can help me

From which source and with which browser did you download the file?
If you use Vista/Win7 be sure to run the installers as admin and install EB outside Program Files.
Disable Anti-Vir programs during installation.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I downloaded it using Chrome. I tried to download it on my notebook, just to see if it would open and it did (I downloaded it with Chrome on that too)
I'm currently trying to open it but it's loading and when I click Windows Explorer it crashes for a while.
I use Vista.

Especially the Eb1.1 installer takes long to load (as it is a big thing), be patient (up to 10 minutes).
There were some reports that after a given Microsoft update was installed the installer took hours to load up, so be sure to have an updated Windows.

If everything fails, install EB on your laptop and copy and paste it to your desktop PC, afterwards uninstall it. Use a shortcut to load EB.

I had the same issue when I tried to install EB (I am also a Vista user, so it may be a Vista problem), whenever I tried to run the 1.1 installer it would crash the computer, though the 1.2 installer would be fine

For me, this was easily solved simply by running the 1.1 installer in safe mode
