    Default Chess challenge thread!

    Okay so here I've been living under the impression that somewhere beyond the smog of lies and deceit there can, in this very Gameroom, exist chess players. But no one dares play!
    So now I'm issuing a challenge to each and every one of you; beat me!

    What I'm thinking here is a sort of "King of the Hill" setup where you challenge the "King" and then have a go with him/her. I could set up some scoreboard aswell if that's to prefer.

    Please put the challenge in a voting format, such as;
    Challenge: Believer
    So that it's abundantly clear who is playing.

    Settings

    1. The colour of white/black is of the challenger's decision.
    2. Time control should be between 1 minute and 1 hour. Exceptions could be made but both players must agree upon it.
    3. In the event of a draw, each person is awarded 1 point, wins are worth 3 points.
    4. In the event of a draw, the "King" retains his title and may be challenged again.

    Let's play!

    So "N to E4" and all that, no graphic interface? Sounds tedious.

    I'm willing to play on any chess website or correspondence, whatever the opponent wishes.

    If there is some interest in this, I may be able to install a graphical interface so that chess can be played on a board directly inside the forum threads. It's a bit of work though, so please comment if you would actually use this function.

    Great idea!
    I would, if I got opponents. :)

    Naww, you'll just beat me. Another time, perhaps.
