    That makes sense I guess. Re-emergences tend to affect multiple provinces in a similar way when there are multiple rebel held provinces that the re-emerging faction formerly held. It does seem stupid though to have these rebels choose to join a loyalist uprising for the faction that they just rebelled from 3 years ago. But, at least it makes some sense to me how the mechanics of it work in the game.

    They did not rebel against the faction, but against the faction leader whom they seemed to have been dissatisfied with. And when a new leader appeared the rebels felt that it was the one they've been dreaming of.
