I think you are reading to much into it because A) it's business and B) what CA said 10 years ago means nothing to the CA of today. The 10 year thing was the logical thing to do in the development process, especially if you consider they were runing out of genres.

I'm just hoping they don't resort to just Revamps of previous titles
