Now these threads imo were all successes, they provided me with a reason to check the Frontroom every couple hours or so. But I don't see the same kind of silly yet PG threads that can spur odd but interesting conversations from other people. I see org vs twc, 5 loooong threads that have been around for infinity because it lumps a large topic (football, language) or is a game (one word story) and Hooahguy's girl thread making 90% of what is currently active on the Frontroom (not including the stickies).

The Frontroom is for off-topic conversation that's too light for the Backroom so there's never going to be anything heavily philosophical or political, but if you find that people aren't talking about the sort of things that interest you, why not bring them up yourself? If you have ideas for good conversation, start the threads! If you're frustrated by these "idiotic threads", report them! :P
See above. But also I don't see why philosophy is automatically relegated to backroom material. There are many philosophical subjects that are not backroom level controversial. If I made a thread asking how everyone learns and it has some heavily epistemological flavor to it, why must be it be put away in the members only section?

The thing is, there's such a marked difference between the Babe Thread and throwing out overtly graphic/sexual comments; posting a picture of Alessandra Ambrosio in her smalls is perfectly fine, commenting that you wonder how many digits you can insert into various orifices is not.
Babe thread at its heart is a bunch of men objectifying the bodies of women. Not saying this is super duper wrong, but because our users might use more flowery language to describe the women, it doesn't make it any different than this place: http://boards.ign.com/teh_vestibule/...4986481/p1/?15

If you really have a problem with the Babe Thread, then bring it up here; were a consensus reached among Orgahs, I would gladly see to it that it's unstickied/locked/deleted. If there's content/changes that you'd like to see, then this is the place to bring them up if you don't want to approach the respective Moderators/Content Managers privately.
I have no problem with the Babe thread, I just want to make it clear that the typical PI/Hooahguy thread about women is going to lead down the same road it always has and it seems absurd to sit back every time and say "Hooahguy is complaining about women? Gee, lets see how this goes..." You know, Frags had a really good woman bashing thread in the backroom, I think that establishes a precedent of where those types of threads should go.

The option to discuss it privately was for your benefit, in the event that you didn't want to 'air your dirty laundry in public', as it were. I have no qualms with discussing it here, if that's your preference.
What is my dirty laundry? The post I made publicly which was taken down? If there is something to discuss and I am asking about it in a thread, go ahead and reply. If it something I haven't yet brought up in the watchtower go ahead and message me. Either way is fine with me.
