Which Orgah(s) would you like to meet in real life?

I'm gonna meet a bunch when I travel the country in my Harley and my mongol helmet. I already met SFTS, he just doesn't know it.

MRD, phonicsmonkey and ATPG.

Depends on who's the cutest.

But now serious, I'd like a meet-up with the patrons of the TYOL thread. It should be feasable.

Yeah TYOLT guys should be able doable and sounds fun. We should arrange something.

The only .org member I met for now, was Gustave an EB II member known for his fantastic skinning. I met him when on holiday in France. I think we both were pretty drunk at the end.

I'm planning to do roadtrips in the future. One to Eastern Europe and one from NY to LA. The latter would not be for the to near future though. In the first I think chances are big I'd might visit Alin (EB II modeler) and who knows some other guys from the .org I know well. Same for my American road trip, but as that is not going to be soon, we'll see if I'll visit someone there.

I'd like to meet all the other staff members. They are superb people and I consider them all to be friends. I come here only because of people like them.

Sheesh, I feel like the Org has been my corner pub for a long time. Even the people whom I don't interact with often are regulars. I'd like to meet them all, frankly.

I'd like to see the Org made flesh as a slightly run-down pub that serves really good scotch and dark beers. It would be the sort of place that welcomes dogs. I'd stop in a couple of days a week after work, knock back a pint and talk to my mates.

Sounds rather nice to me.

The downside to having been here so long is i've seen many come and go. Most whom I would love to meet no longer visit these boards, or do so rarely. Of the active Veho Nex and Crazed Rabbit strike me as particularly nice guys who I wouldn't mind sharing a beer with. Many of the staff as well.

Many others seem like great contributors to the site, but aren't those I interact with enough to say one way or another.

I also would like to meet Major Robert Dump because my sister is in the military and it would be interesting to meet another military folk.

I'm thinking of opening a pub when I return CONUS and was seriously cosnidering naming it The Org. Will I get sued?

@MRD: free beer is more enough a reason for many people to be somewhere. Especially students.

If you build this, I will come. I live in Alabama, not terribly far away, and we don't have anything that could rightly be called a pub. If you really named the place The .Org, I think a lawsuit would be the least of your worries. A lack of business due to confusion about the name would probably be a bigger threat.
