NTW is better than ETW imo. I'm presently playing as the Russians on very hard. I've taken the initial battering and Kutusov is presently basking on the Bay of Biscay coast. Now for those backstabbing British!
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

All of the trouble with ETW was at the initial release.

Most all of the bugs have been hunted down and eliminated.

It is a good game with a better AI than M2TW.

NTW is even better as far as game play goes, though it doesn’t have the grand scale of ETW.
The campaign in Spain is really great and I may have played it more than the others.

They are both well worth the money.

TWS2 is very popular. They seemed to have learned a lot with NTW and improved on it a bit, so all three are good games. You can hardly go wrong with any of them.
