'Young Turks' big difference they were anti OttomanRight, and it doesn't even have to go hand-in-hand with discrimination of an ethnic or religious group. In Late Ottoman Turkey, for example (that is, before the Armenian Genocide), the Young Ottomans declared that everyone in the Empire was a citizen of the Ottoman State, regardless of racial or religious affiliation.
