Glorious battle! Our march to drive out the last filth of isen drove us to Ost-in-Edil whom was held by filthy orcs and goblins, seeing them we as the same king of filth we charged fourth to liberate the town. As our main army moved to besiege, King Thengel himself took two decimated units of rohan riders and Helmings each to deal with a small Goblin force. After killing the roughly 650 Orcs and goblins, letting a few escape he stumbled on what was a host of the filthy creatures. Apparently he had only dealt with the Advance party, a Vanguard.

Seeing as it was too late to withdraw and warn the already besieging army whom would not be able to escape this new threat, Thengel lead a furious charge with his remaining men. The enemy faced them head on, withstanding charge after charge. When two unit of Snagas unleashed their deadly javelins all seemed lost.

But as the Javelins started flying, the Hemlings charged into melee causing the filthy creatures leader to break, leading to the rout of the entire army. Thengel having seen some of his closest men fall, showed no mercy. Not one goblin, orc or snaga survived to tell the tale of his fury.

The tally of the battle ended with 1657 dead from the Misty mountains, 34 out of 233 Men from Rohan not counting the many wounded in this heroic battle.

And that right there is why I am coming to the belief that a balanced hotseat game is impossible in his mod.

I don't mean to be whining though, and am looking forward to playing this game out!

This reminds me of fighting the Rajputs as the Caliphate back in the old BC hotseat days. Multitudes of hindu spear and archers cut down by a small number of brave cavalrymen...

A rule should be added imho to set a maximum number of adoptions. If not i canget one unit of heavy cavalry every turn, whom costs me 200 in wages only (unless im mistaken) whom also replenishes losses for free. Harad and Rhun can do the same ofc, but that still leaves us with the advantage since we have twice as many factions with mounted BGs

To be fair i had very good units facing pretty much only snaga whom are nothing if not weak on favorable terrain.

now if that sweet little rebel village could STOP SALLYING and let me assault... Twice they have driven me off now only to return immediately :D

OOTMM being a favorite faction of mine I can confirm the extent to which snaga suck if anything can force them into combat.

And also the many autoresolve battles I've had to do over the ai turn where our side got pasted against the high unit numbers ai orcs.

Speaking of adoptions, mine have been continually failing lately. I wish I knew why, this always happens to me in hotseat games for no apparent reason.

it doesn't always fix the problem, but I've found before that the adoptions are more likely to go through if you accept them first thing. In a lot of games if I don't do it first thing it seems to be a surefire fail.

hmm, well I always do it first, but maybe if that seems to have an affect I will try NOT doing them first and see.

I have my suspicions that there is either a cap on max FMs on the map or a cap of emerging FMs per turn and those who are behind in the TO can't adopt if players before them do so. That's speculation only.

in CoG my last two adoptions "were not completed' due to the death of the adoptee. I noticed that always "dying when not first decision" in singleplayer so I've been doing it first. I believe it's due to to my loss of regions in that game. The game giveth, the game taketh away

this seems kind of silly, as long as it is ok with the rest of my team, i vote to just have you ar any AI battles that come up after yours. Then just give us a heads up if there was an AI battle for us, just so we know.
