Thanks guys. Just a warning, it took some time to get the game set up on my computer (same error as with the gamersgate copy, then it turned out I had a UK rather than US Gold version and had to find the right Kingdoms patch). As a result I may be a little bit late with the turn but it will still be tonight.
Gah, we're on version 2.0. I just spent a while downloading the wrong version of the mod.

After the defeat, gandalf and the remnants of the army had retreated back into friendly land, but before they could retreat further, a scouting force of orcs caught up with them. all orcs were massacred in the following skirmish.

Ya, this is a fantastic mod, but it just doesn't work for competitive multiplayer in my opinion.
Some kind of roleplay or more rpg like thing might work better.

I'll be back from my holiday tomorrow, although I don't think I will be playing my turn till Monday morning if that's ok with you guys. The flight is at 10PM GMT tomorrow and touchdown back in the UK will be about 2AM - I won't be in the mood for hotseating at such absurd times! XD
I would have happily played the turn now but I realised that when I was spring-cleaning my laptop I must have uninstalled Third Age.. T_T

Done, sort of.
Two things I noticed. First, I accidentally ARed a defensive battle for a faction on Mordor's side. The AI faction was on the left on the prebattle screen, where the human player was for the other defensive battles. Didn't think untill after that the Free Peoples side was one we don't have a player for (Dale) and the opposing side a faction we do have a player for. Second, the prebattle screen was a bit screwy, with strange odds (1:6000) and showing the wrong number of men for Dale, post battle results and numbers were reasonable.
Two questions, should I do my turn over after Thanatos ARs his team's battle? And, does anyone know what might be up with the prebattle screen?
Save for if Thanatos wants to take a look and see if he gets the same odd prebattle odds and numbers.
