2400 Plaza del Universo
Radio City building, Suite 501
Fatlington, New Jersey
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)
Strapped in the chair of the city's gas chamber
Why I'm here, I can't quite remember
The surgoen general say's it's hazardous to breathe
I'd have another cigarette
But I can't see
Tell me that you're gonna believe
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)
Captain America's been torn apart
Now he's a court jester
With a broken heart
He said turn me around
And take me back to the start
I must be losing my mind
"Are you blind?!"
I've seen it all a million times
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)
I want to go
I want to know
Oh, won't you please take me hooooooome
Baby
The Anachronism Hour with Saucy Slice
"Welcome back to the show, this is DJ Saucy Slice broadcasting from the very top of Radio City, at the Plaza del Universo in the heart of Fatlington, New Jersey. We are gonna start the show a little differently today, beginning with the legendary The Anachronism Hour, which is the part of the show where I play music you've never heard before, not of this era, from records I pulled out of their dusty sleeves that have been sitting in my basement since the before the war. Or maybe this is new music from artists never before seen. But whatever the case, it is not your standard fare, and we will bring you back to your regularly scheduled contemporary music later.
That was..... "Guns N' Roses". Who are they? Bright up and comers, those. Now it's time for the News Cruise! with Askthepizzaguy."
*VROOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM*
"So, Ask, tell us what's in the news on this fine, fine morning?"
Askthepizzaguy: "Well Saucy, it seems you are! Yes indeed, I understand you were the victim of a savage attack last night, what happened to you?"
"Actually, I'm fine. Though I'm in a lot of pain, there was no permanent damage. And nothing is going to stop me from hosting this radio show!"
Askthepizzaguy: "That's good to hear. Apparently there was a spree of violent attempted killings last night, but thankfully, only one Fatling paid for it with their life."
"Sounds to me like the vigilant citizens of Fatlington are doing an excellent job protecting folks from violent crime. Who needs the police when we have the neighborhood watch? Thanks for your report, Ask, stay safe out there. Well, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, after surviving a brush with death I feel fan-freaking-tastic.
Though I must say, I lost my temper last night when delivering a bunch of pizzas. This jerkbag gave me and my partner a nickel for a tip to split between us. I just blacked out, and when I came to, I was driving away with a pile of clothes in the back seat. No idea what happened there.
But I assure you, I won't lose my cool again. I'm a mild-mannered pizzaguy at night, and the bestest DJ in town by day. I still have requests for songs from yesterday and we will get to some of those, but impress me with your music selection and maybe I'll squeeze you in for today.
Stay classy, Fatlington!"
If you want to request a song, dial 1-855-DJ-SLICE. He'll serve your ears something hot and fresh in thirty minutes or less.
