anyone going to get it?
anyone going to get it?
Got it when it was on-sale with steam, my thoughts on it so far....
1.Pacifism doesn't work.
In EU3:divine wind, I was able to inherit most of what I would have conquered though RM, not all the time but it was an option. Not that this is a bad thing but it does limit you to only attacking and plotting.
2.Diplomacy is "historical" or does it need work?
When I played Shogun 2, I was impressed when the A.I. was not afraid to back-stab you if it thought it could gain from it. Here it feels a little tame, A.I. well rarely accept WP and forget trying to get them to submit or become your vassal clan even if you outnumber them by a huge amount. I dislike that the clans can't ally but I heard that this was historical(?).
3.Blobbing clans.
Clans blob like you wouldn't believe....there is a mini-mod at Paradox that helps correct this but it was really fun seeing Yamana clan have a civil war that shattered it into two really big clans. Thought I would lose before that happened.(I was in the north was my flank secure but got into a "Cold war" with the Takeda clan)
4.Music.
I love the music it sets the mood for me.
Overall, like any of PI's games it is a bit of a "WIP" but it well get better and I look forward to it.
Patch is out and with it.There is now a campaign starting 1551, for those who like another starting date and more familiar starting clans and characters.

First link.
I'm to lazy and busy to look for it.
Besides, why do something when someone can do it for you?
Thank you!
Eh, be nice, both of you.
If you don't like to help, don't do it instead of questioning others' abilities.
And if you don't have the time to read up on something, don't make others write down a lot for you.
Everybody should be happier for it.
(Of course I'll also be happy to slap infractions on people who don't want to play nice.)
