A lot of this is simply lack of knowledge i suspect. There are Sastikas all over the place here in Singapore, they simply don't have the same meanings as they hold for the West. Usually they're in a religious or ritual context. Occasionally the odd Nazi one creeps in but I've yet to see that with an overtly malicious intent, and generally I suspect it's a reference on a reference based around punks. I think in a way it's like all the rather inappropriate 'Im a drrty girll' t shirts you see grannies and children wearing here - something's lost in translation, in much the same way that you get idiots in the UK with Chinese tattoos that read 'chip shop' when they're translated.
