Default Blender 2.6 finally set to arrive this Sunday!

After years of development it is finally here:

Better still, the new Cycles renderer should arrive in the December 2.6.1 update.

    *happy*

3D craft was always appealing to me yet I never made the move to have a peek inside.

It feels likes I'm missing out on something I could enjoy indeed.

we use it at work, and it is a great tool although for the last eighteen months lagging behind in features for end-users due to the protracted development, but not any more now 2.6 is finally out.

Now we just need Gimp to get to 2.8...

The real nice thing is its Python 3.2 integration (as of 2.5 actually). If only the IWTE ran on top of Blender 2.5... could've been WYSIWYG editing of M2TW city battlemaps, and would actually run on OSX or Linux without Wine... Ah, well one can dream...
