There are three new mounts though they are expensive and require several DKs along with the price.

There is also a new Companion. A dog, but you never know how it will behave…you know dogs can sense bad people…

If you go about killing lots of people, or trying to,,,well I just would not recommend it.

So is the dog better than the mercs? Are the mounts better than the stallion?

And why don't I ever get to meet the Forest Gnome or the Inn Fairy?

The mounts are better than the stallion if you can afford them.

Price is not everything in this game and things are not always the way they appear at first glance.

As to fairies, I am not sure you would always be happy with what their whims and ways have to offer. And be careful what you wish for, it may come true.

I find the best companion to be the Bear. It takes all the hits and damage, which allows you to chain up on flawless victories.
