Forum sluggish again?

Loading forum listings is fine, but when I want to actually read (new) threads the forum loads like the proverbial hamster has passed out, for a couple of minutes now.

I experience the same. Not for every thread I try to open, only occasionally. And if I open a different window in my browser and try to acces the same thread that is taking a looooong time to open in the other window, it goes as fast as it normally does.

I am not experiencing any issues, but we have had situations in the past where there has been some sluggishness for people in Europe. It's possible that's occurring again. If so, it's an issue with our host's transatlantic connection and there's nothing we can do about it, though in the past it has always resolved in short order.
