Default Government building dissapears if you build all MIC levels?

    Hi all,

I am playing with Romani and I am the point where Athens, with a Type 4 Government, has all buildings up, including the MIC. I was about to switch the government to Type 3 or 2 but the Government building is nowhere to be found?! Does this happen when a city is fully built?

Another related question, if you build up the Type 4 MIC, can you switch the government Type to 3 or 2 and build those corresponding MICs too? In other words, can you have best of both worlds?

    Thanks!

You have to destroy your current government building to create a new one. And yes you can build both MIC's up all the way in this manner though its a bit of an exploit and most regions don't give much at the lvl 5 local MIC anyway.

It's possible to build more buildings than can be shown (the interface can only show two "screens full" of buildings). So your Type 4 government building might not be visible. If that happens, the only way to get it into view it is to demolish enough other buildings that it becomes visible.

Thanks guys! You were right! The interface can only show 2 screens of buildings, so demolishing some is the only way. Seems like a nasty bug to me, but the suggested workaround does the trick.
