Default No barracks available in Type I government

    Hello fellow EB-ers,

It's 253 BC now and as the Romani, I have owned Taras and Rhegion since 270 BC. I have instituted Type I governments there and destroyed the preexisting Epeirote and rebel MICs and barracks.
However I can't see or build my own set of barracks there - they're not available in my building browser!

    Any help on this?

    Thanks in advance

And P.S. I have activated the background script each and every time I've loaded the campaign

    Hello Jormungaard,
Taras and Rhegion (as well as Bononia, Segesta and Patavium in the north) will get the option to establish factional MICs after the Polybian reform. Until then you are restricted to regional MICs there.
For this reform you need to fulfill the following prerequisites:

    -At least year 242
-Hold 2 of these cities (Segesta, Mediolanum, Patavium, Bononia)
-Hold 2 of these cities (Lilibeo, Messana, Syracuse)
    OR
    -Wait until 210BC
(You get the new units only after upgrading your MICs.)
    "year 242" means turn 121. (so summer or autumn 242 ;) )

The information is taken from the EB FAQ by the way, always a good idea to have a look into that. :)
    Finished EB Campaigns: Kart-Hadast 1.0/1.2 | Pontos 1.1 | Arche Seleukeia 1.2 | Hayasdan 1.2 | Sab'yn 1.2 | Makedonia 1.2 (Alex)
Lost Campaigns (1.2, Alex. exe): Getai | Sab'Yn
    Ongoing campaigns (1.2): SPQR (110 BC) | Sab'yn (217 BC) | Pontos (215 BC)

Thanks so much - I've read countless times in countless places: "Read the FAQ, read the FAQ!" but it seems I forgot to do that this time :(
