Hey, if you want to blame me for your wrong choice, that's your privilege. I told you I was neutral, told you what my role was, told you who I scanned, told you what the result was, told you everything that happened to me at night, gave you every piece of information you needed to make the correct choice, and you and many others blew the call. I might remind the townies that their scumdars have failed to catch me when I'm scum and falsely ID'ed me when I'm townie or neutral, for years now. They're just plain ineffective at penetrating my cheesy stuffed crust, and getting to the delicious sauciness within.
Scummy is a nebulous term which can be applied to any and all behaviors in a mafia game. It's a meaningless word, used to cover up for a weak argument. Guy gets executed in Texas, why? Because he seemed guilty. He was even acting like he was guilty. Except he wasn't guilty. The way he was acting was the way he was acting, which was normal for him. The "guilty" label was erroneously applied by people who can't admit they were wrong. Of course it's the fault of the accused, surely the accusers couldn't have just been, you know, wrong.
But I was scummy, of course. That's why I was executed. Because even if it was a failure of a verdict, the jurors couldn't have gotten it wrong.
OOC: It's just a game and I don't care, I just feel like rubbing it in.![]()

Puaj!! Can't you guys stop for a freaking moment! Yes you two! Just shut up for a bit, I need to read it all.
Pizza, what the heck did I ask you yesterday before changing my vote? What have you answered?
I've asked you who informed you you have scanned, your answer to that pm was:
Here is in all its splendour your cooperation....No one informed me I was scanned, I naturally anticipated that it would be the case in a role-heavy game with players still reeling from Capo IV.
I was attacked, I was protected N1. What else? Scans, of course. Anything else? For what reason? I am Askthepizzaguy.
Then you came in thread and said the host informed you were scanned... that left me thinking why on earth the host didn't say the same to me when I was scanned...
Or to anyone else that I know of...
I'm not wasting more my time on you dude, at the very last you were a very uncooperative independent role, as you claimed to be...
returning to the shadows.....
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Oh jebus.
No one but the host informed me I was scanned. As in, no PLAYER came forward and said hai, I scanned you Pizza.
I thought that was clear. The host doesn't count as a player in this game. I wouldn't know I was scanned in the first place unless the host said something about the hand chopping.
What nonsense is this about "very uncooperative"? Bull droppings. I revealed all my information and helped connect the doctors together without self-contaminating. I've done more for the town than you could possibly ask of a neutral in two phases, I just wasn't kissing anyone's rump, that's all. I asked for one whole thing, which was not being killed off. Did what I was supposed to do to help, but town didn't give a rats behind and listened to some anonymous prankster instead of thinking for themselves, and lynched me.
And guys, I was too busy scanning Player A and Player B (already posted who player B was) and finding out they were human to be doing serial killings.
Neutral serial killer???
Dudes. The character Rondell may have gone anti-demon at one point in his life, in the TV show, but the character Rondell in this game is still a part of Gunn's crew and had no other powers besides scanning. You just want to believe you caught something good, but you didn't, you blew it. That's all. You wasted a really useful scanner based on the premise that neutrals are any less townie than townies in this game.
A game where townies are corruptible as well, and the only difference between a neutral and a townie is the survival win condition.
Essentially, you just lynched one of your better detectives, over BS. Swallow it. It tastes bad, but you'll get over it. I have.
I didn't even have any ability to remove non-humans. All I had was my scan and my vote, just like I said. You didn't catch anyone, let alone anyone of value. You killed your own detective. That's all.
I have nothing left to contribute as my own win conditions are screwed now, so you're on your own. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
One last thing, if I was so anti-demon, why was I so willing to continue to help Montmorency, who admitted he was a demon in-thread, even after he had been a pain in my neck?
Because I wasn't even anti-demon. I was simply pro-human. That's all. No anti-anything, just foolishly concerned with fellow human beings and their ability to live. Killed by those same humans.
Learned my lesson, didn't I, atheotes?

Buffy Season 1 Episode 3: New Kid in Town
Buffy is on patrol. She comes across a pentagram with burnt out candles at the corners.
Buffy: That's probably not a good thing.
Cue Intro Music
Buffy succeeds in tracking whatever was in that pentagram to a house. She slips inside, to hear fighting.
She carefully looks around the corner...
and sees AskthePizzaguy struggling with a shark-faced demon!
Buffy: Yikes! The last time someone like him came to this town, it was disastrous!
And so saying, Buffy pulls out her stake and stabs ... AskthePizzaguy
AskthePizzaguy: Geez, can't a brother catch a break around here?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Buffy: Ok, so maybe that wasn't the best idea. But in that case ...
Buffy looks up, but the Shark-demon is gone, and so is any trail.
Night ends in about 3 hours if I have 2/3 of the possible actions, otherwise it ends in 9, at 12:00 or 18:00 EST respectivelyLiving 19/25

Well then...
So as far as I see it, there's two possibilities here:
1) The scanner that had contacted Mont's contacts was lying.
OR
2) ATPG may have been converted, thus changing his victory condition.
Really, the second option makes more sense to me. Why go out of your way to get somebody lynched if their victory condition is just to protect all humans? That's hardly a threatening role - especially when they're neutral-aligned.
However, it may be worth looking into an alliance between this individual and the person who was in second place for the lynch (Seon?). If one of them is mafia, it in all likelihood increases the chances of the other being mafia, too. However, this all depends on the timing of the events. If this person only started telling people that ATPG's condition was to kill humans AFTER the Seon votes started piling up, then it's odd. If he spread this information at the beginning of the phase, then there's nothing off about it at all (so that alliance isn't as likely as with any other player).
For now, I'd say we should not reveal this individual publicly. Whoever knows about him (I think we're all males here? I don't know anybody here) should talk things out with him privately and make a decision based upon that. If he is telling the truth, it would suck to out/kill another scanner.

If you're a fan of smaller mafia rounds and/or rounds with lots of powers (or where you can pick your own role), you should sign up for Vendetta Strada! 9 out of 10 doctors recommend it! The other got night-killed by the mafia.
