Discrimination in Game Server? just get banned because I'm Indonesian

So, here's the story, I bought a certain FPS game some time ago, and it worked fine for long times. Yeah, bought it online and spending my wages on that.

But just very recently, I GOT BLACKLISTED AND NOW CAN'T PLAY DAT DARN GAME JUST BECAUSE I LOGIN FROM INDONESIA!!! (insert curse words and other profanities) - yes, they did basically display this message "banned because you come from that country", and now, I can't even play that game in singleplayer... bah...

while I did know the other ways arround, it also means I can't play at official MP servers again, darn... but if I do nothing, it means I just wasted arround $50 for nothing now...

I honestly don't want to say what game it was in public, I only give clue that this was FPS game that need internet connection as the protection methoc, and now the (insert expeltive profanities) developer of the game decide to ban my country for no reason.

just wanna to ask something:
- is there a solution to fool the server so I can appear to log in from other country (without involving swimming to either Australia or Singapore, thank you very much)

*P.S: Actually I want to post this on TWC, but some other members there will quickly deduce what game I refer was, so I post this here, thanks.

I wish I had something to offer, but I'm not sure how you could do this. There is probably a way to do it through a proxy server, but I wouldn't know how.

Why would they ban you from being from Indonesia? If that game's servers are based in the US, it would probably be law-suit-worthy.

indeed, I wish to sue them because apparently, they assume everyone from Indonesia is using illegal copy, the funny thing is, that (insert profane expeltive) game is the only one who ban everyone from Indonesia, while the other game who run through the same system isn't.

Of course, we all know that they just "discover" that their "shadow" server for their cracked game is based here,,, indeed, I can simply crack my game and play MP with others who has illegal copies as well, but that wouldn't be the same with playing on official MP server since some of them are also my friends on TWC (darn)

Welcome to the world of globalization, which is almost only beneficial for companies.

I think some legal action may work, but would be expensive and a lot of effort, if there's some customer protection organization either in your country or in the US I suppose it would help to contact them.
You might also want to try asking to get your money back, the EULA probably gives them the right to remove your access whenever they want and for no good reason but such clauses are not really legal in many countries anyway.

Well, I don't know about Indonesia, but I read here in Germany the parts of an EULA that violate customer protection laws can more or less be ignored, because since they violate customer protection law, they cannot really be enforced in a court.
Origin tries certain things like applying UK law to german customers but that is a bunch of nonsense because if I sue them in a german court they can't just go and say I agreed to take it to a UK court and take the case there. Which means I might just as well ignore that part.
The same goes for parts where they ask you to forfeit your right to take it to court in the first place because it's against the aforementioned laws which state that you can always do that etc.

That's why I would at least try to find some kind of customer initiative and talk to them, if you're lucky there are similar laws in Indonesia and you may at least get your money back or find others with the same problem. As long as you don't have to pay to talk to someone that is.

allright, apparently, for some reasons, this ban is still in effects and I just circumvent it by one stupid (but sightly mind bogling and barely legal) move... basically I set my location to Australia and that goes fine now...
