    Default OFFICIAL: Boardwalk Empire

So its been long enough that most who have seen it have seen it and if you haven't seen it you should.

How about that season finale? Was that good or what?

I wonder what harrow is going to do now that Darmody is dead. I hope he goes off to start his own gang, though I doubt it. Also with Darmody dead who or what is going to take the role as Nucky's rival?

It was an incredible final episode.

That was one of the most surprising deaths I have ever seen on TV. I thought Jimmy's prominence as one of the two main characters of the show made him totally invincible. I am now extremely excited for season 3, as it seems like pretty much everyone except Nucky is capable of getting whacked.

The only thing about it that concerns me is Richard. I love that character so much, but I don't think it's likely he will be able to continue as a significant character without Jimmy. He'll either get himself killed seeking revenge, or just leave the area. I don't see him transferring loyalties to anyone else.

The second his mom pulled out his dog tags from around his sons neck I knew something was fishy. They even hinted at it when he tore his "fathers" will up and asked if it would all goto his son. I really hope harrow sticks with it, but like you said TinCow, I don't know how they are going to include him without Darmody.

Yes great episode. I think that Richard will play a role in the next season but as much because he cared for Jimmy's wife as he did for Jimmy. It was a real shock when Jimmy bought it. A lot of the internet forums are really upset saying that now Jimmy's gone there are only old people left on the show. I guess they must think that life is like Twilight where 20 somethings playing the roles of teenagers run the world. Yet again, Boardwalk Empire shows that old age and ruthless treachery will always overcome youthfullness and skill.

And Holy Hanna!! What about Mrs. Thompson signing over the land deed to the church!
