Old TW'er back and needs updating?!

Hi there, I havent played or been active in TW since RTW where I ran a clan called the Myrmidon's (nobody probably remembers), I was just curious before I purchased Shogun 2 how active the online community is now I have a decent PC again and whether there are many if any clans running in multiplayer mode?
