Default UV unwraping probs in 3DMax 2010

Hi, I am having a few problems getting the UV thing to unwrap in 2010, the graphics come up fine when you edit the model, but when it is unwrapped it does not come up as the graphic sheet but balnk with the squres in the background. I can take screen shots of the areas but this is slow. Any tips on what to do.
Also how do i get a new graphic sheet to attatch to a model in the 3D Max thing, I can't find this in 2010.
The other thing i found different was the weld option which I can't find in the 2010.
Are there any tutorials on the more modern versions of Max, I used Max 7 before but 2010 seems to be a bit different.

    Cheers

Well, if you mean material by graphic sheet, the material editor's been the same since 9, that's what i first used. Same thing with weld.
In the unwrap thing there's a dropdown that should contain the texture, just click on it. If you can't see it, there's a reset textures option wich should refresh the list...

Hi, thanks for the reply. I got it working mostly but two areas remain a problem.
    1. double sided areas come out as single sided it they are moved. Eg a musket's lock etc only works on one side.
    2. When th UV unwraps, it does so in the origional way that it is folded, I cant get the function to unfold in various ways to work flaten mapping, unfold mapping etc.
    Any advice would be apreciated.

    Cheers
