I didn't figure we'd actually lynch BSmith here, but dang these day ones are so boring when the votes don't even really count.

I am not sure if I well understand tribe/tenses etc. I am not english speaker.
To be sure that I will be understood I want to post this:

No one was lynched.
It was due to a fact, that on day one absolute nmajority of votes (i. e. more than half of living players) must be reached in order for a lynch to happen.

When council members gathered, they found that one of them was lacking.
Soon, they found body of BSmith with sliced throat.

BSmith was innocent

A little bit nervous, they started second day of they meeting.
