Not to defend my scumbag friend here, but Lewwyn typically adopts this stance. At least from the Island point of view. Which he was mafia. But that's besides the point.
Also Lewwyn, different people, different site, different kind of play, etc all make for a different game.
Regardless, an important fact to remember is that the more you talk, the more likely you are to slip as scum or make a mistake. Which is why that tactic works. However, it will no doubt catch townies too, and the fact that we always have lurkers should not be a surprise to you. The length of the days may also have something to do with it. I do like discussion, and I post a lot, or at least I used to before life intervened.
Regardless of this, I'm not suspicious because of the fact you post, I'm suspicious of what you said. And to hide behind a lurker crusade is easy for scum, even if they start it, because often lynching all lurkers is a win-win situation for scumbags.
