As far as the incident itself was concerned, even as of yet nothing has been proven. Theories are flying in the air. And most people who criticise the BSF personnel forget the large number of illegal immigrants who cross over from Bangladesh into India, and the risk they pose. They add to the already explosive population increase, and even worse are a security risk since they can easily be picked up by covert terror cells in the country.

As far as the hacking attacks are concerned, they are juvenile. If issues exist they are to be sorted out in a constructive manner. Trying to strong arm someone rarely works, and only serves to increase hostilities and aggravate the situation.

Edit:
Although I agree that rampant brutality against illegal immigrants isn't the solution either. Those involved must be punished, but with proper course.
When they hack into the sites, they don't screw it up. They just leave a message about their concerns. I don't think their intent is to cause mayhem, it's to draw attention to something that is predominantly brushed off. And the construction of the Tipaimukh Dam is a biggie. India are breaking some UN protocol, by constructing something within their own country that affects another.
