Cannot install EB1.1 due to freeze

Hi everyone,

I recently found out about this amazing looking mod, but I just can't seem to figure out what the problem is.
I am running win xp, service pack 3. I downloaded the file (EB1.1.exe) with the torrent (uTorrent).
I have patched my RTW to 1.5, so that should be alright. The only thing is that I have a no-cd crack in the folder.
Well what actually happens:
When I double-click on the EB1.1.exe, my whole explorer freezes. It takes ages for it to recover, took me 5 hours but EB1.1.exe did not start at all.
I also tried to open the .exe through uTorrent, but gave me the same problem: uTorrent freezes.
I've searched the main topics about the major and frequent bugs and errors, but mine isn't one of them I guess...

Problem is for now solved. I tried it 3 more times and the setup ran (:
