What do you think this is, Iran?

Christ, you have absolutely nothing to complain about. When you read something about the VEVAK or the mukhabarat in Algeria or Iraq, you can come back, and we'll talk seriously about oppressive regimes, right.

No, I just don't want it to turn into Iran. (a sentiment I am not sure our President shares)

When did America turn into a nation where people outright admit that they suspect their president of high treason? When exactly did this happen? What's so difficult about accepting the fact that an election was lost, let's see how the Democrats handle it and if they are as bad as they're made out to be, they'll get voted out anyway. Why does everything have to turn into a life-or-death situation when it comes to American politics?

It's been that way from the start. You should read some of the things the founders wrote and said about each other.

    + 1 Strike's post.

(I would just thank him, but it deserves repeating.)

Just so you know, I used the plus sign and then the number one to second someone's post before, and BG gave me a warning point for it saying that it was policy that no matter how it is used, that string of characters is not allowed. Now if the mods are going to be at all equal in enforcement, they are gonna give you a warning for that, so I would suggest removing it.

Weird, but thanks. I just added a space in then.

    But
That is what makes America what it is. You say something like that about your ruler in another Country and you are beheaded, reeducated, or imprisoned. Only in the US does that happen, and it is why America is great. People hold their elected leaders responsible.
I'm sorry, are you forgetting about some countries? For example, Australia? Only in the US, huh? Nope.

I created this thread, and I created it to discuss the circumstances of his death, as well as if there was foul play involved. Don't tell me I am misunderstanding its purpose.

    Interestingly, Breitbart just announced this:
Hammer, anvil, forge and fire, chase away The Hoofed Liar. Roof and doorway, block and beam, chase The Trickster from our dreams.

Please don't generalize about 300+ million Americans because a relative handful of extremists tweeted conspiracy theories.

I could just as easily look at Geert Wilders and his company and judge your entire nation in a similar fashion. Whether you agree with Wilders or not, I'm sure you'd find such an assessment ridiculous.

I wouldn't wish death on him, but I can't say I'm sorry to see him go. He was willing to damage his "enemies" politically at any cost, even if that included deceptive editing and outright fabrications. The whole Shirley Sherrod fiasco was reprehensible.

Sorry that I did not post this before. I closed this thread because of where it went right from the OP. An appropriate thread has begun here.
