    RIP
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Um... its good to show respect for the dead and all, but it's a bit late there strike.
Being better than the worst does not inherently make you good. But being better than the rest lets you brag.

She's really pretty, I'm glad Strike posted this, because I never heard of her before.

He's still distraught about Louis being gone.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

A tragic ending to a hot chick whom I'd like to tongue punch her fart box....

DD: Your flair for the suave and debonair is unparalleled.

As to why now, please remember that Strike is a Texan -- things non-Texan just aren't ranked the same.
