He votes for Seon for an obvious joke post, then goes on to criticize anyone who votes someone for a joke post as "stupid".

His relatively late arrival in the first phase, coupled with that post made me think that he did not receive the same PM that I got reminding people that the game had started. For this reason, at the time I believed that to be less of a joke post than any of the other ones that have since been used as 'evidence' against people. The first day phase is a different situation to the second because in the first you have literally nothing to go off. From the second onwards reasoned arguments are possible. It is an inflexible player who looks at things the same way on day one as they do in all phases henceforth. Hence:

So tell me, CountArach -- if you've voted people for making obvious joke posts, and joke posts "are clearly distracting" and "should be cut out," then why are you so relentlessly voting Diana for being "hung up on these 'joke' posts"?

Joke posts provide a barrier for the mafia. Townies post up jokes then the mafia can just follow the stupid bandwagons, like the one that was being followed by the majority of people on the second day, and thus hide. So joke posts are stupid and should be cut out. Does that mean that the people who post them should be lynched? No. Of course not, that would be ridiculous. Instead people should stop them of their own volition for the good of the town.
