Crash Course World History Video Series.

Hey guys, I have been following on Youtube a video series called Crash Course World History that releases a 10-12 min video every week for 40 weeks that plans to cover all of World History. Right now they just released episode 17 on the Mongols. I wanted to share the youtube page out of generosity (here is the main page that also features Crash Course Biology: https://www.youtube.com/user/crashcourse)

But I also wanted to ask you fellas if you felt that the series does a decent job at tackling large periods of time in an accurate and relatively unbiased point of view. I figure that some of you probably have professional degrees in history and could kindly inform me and others what the flaws of the series are if you find any.

For reference if you don't want to watch 17*12 min worth of video is a recent video about the Crusades that is particularly pointed towards trying to explain why they are presenting the time period in the way that they do.

They are very informative and he tells it in a way that makes it amusing, but I would love it if they would cut out the 'open letter' as I find it somewhat not-funny.
