    Default Euro 2012

Both Denmark and Sweden put up a good fight, just not good enough. I was pleasantly surprised watching Denmark - Germany.. Denmark punched above their weight.

Germany has been the team I would have put my money on from the start, nothing yet has convinced me to change that belief.

Holland, what can I say... 0 points? Total disgrace, what happened? What did they manage, 1 goal in 3 matches or so? I thought Holland was a good football nation, but I get the feeling I must review that belief...

Germany vs Spain in the Finals with Germany as winner (2-1).

It's a bit too open yet to guess who will win the bronze match...

...Why is this in the backroom?
Being better than the worst does not inherently make you good. But being better than the rest lets you brag.

    Good question...

I always forget there is a front room, as I always struggled abiding by BR rules.. I think I would last about 5 seconds on the FR.

I did find it peculiar that that there was nothing on the Euro cup...

Italy deserves a 2-2 game as they are so corrupt, fight fire with fire!! Holland's blatant massimmigration has lead to the degeneration of their football team and lack of the needed nationalistic feelings needed to succeed - to the extent we can see today!! *there we go, fixed it for you*

That's a big leap don't you think. In modern football, all but England, Spain, Italy and Germany have 'massimmigration' of their best players. France doesn't seem to have a problem, neither do Croatia and a lot of others. Secondly Holland had practically the same team as the one that became vice-world champion 2 years ago and almost all of them already played abroad.

I think that they were a bit lucky at the WC 2010 and we're in the winning mood then. At EC 2012, they were unlucky to get into the most dificult group. There were some key players who were out of form and loosing the first game meant that annoyances that were under the surface were uttered and the group spirit just got worse from there. I've seen it before with Oranje: once there's some conflict within the group, the performance takes a huge dive.

Well, for the first time ever, I hope Germany wins...

Spain won the last euro and wc, they're boring and I just don't see them winning. Germany's style is exciting and much more fun to watch...

I used to like Italy but this Italy is boring as hell.

Slightly less chances to win but also interesting is Russia, so I hope for a Germany-Russia final.

I'm hoping for a Russia-Netherlands final myself, which has the same chance of happening.

the fact that the Portuguese team that hasn´t played worth in the last year was able to made it past the group stage is a more than clear statement about how bad the Holland team's performance was.

If you had asked me what were the chances of Portugal making it out of that group 1 week ago I would have said 10% tops..

I'll save this thread from the Frontroom!!

My best moment in the euro is the following:

After Ukraine won their first match against Sweden, a thread was started on Stormfront. There was much rejoicing, after the "all-white" team had beaten "the team with a negro on it". This was assumed to be definite proof that racial separation is greater than multiculturalism. Ukraine had played disiplined and mercilessly because they were all white, Sweden had played disorderly because of their black player Olsson. This was followed by a couple of pages of pictures gloryfying(how do you spell that word?) all their white, Ukranian heroes, as well as pictures of Olsson "displaying negro attitudes", like reacting too slowly or holding one of their Aryan Gods

Then Ukraine played France. With a ton of players with roots in the colonies as well as a "race traitor"(Ribery). France went up 2-0, in complete control of the match.

    The thread was deleted.

    I lol'ed. Hard. Very hard.
Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban

Well, at least not caring about football has become easy again now that we're out. Elk nadeel heb zijn voordeel, as we say.

Must say Sweden did a fantastic game...

They entered the field knowing they were already out of the tournament, but still beat the group leader (France) with 2-0.

For the fans and for their national colours.

    Kudos from me
