Ok, Uh... Guy in heavy depression is kept afloat because of his affection for someone ("you"). I think I got some undertones of "the world is a horrid place and we really should do something about it" which is par for the course considering the band.

Good bands/music groups let the audience fill in the gaps themselves. That's how the brain works and how you become successful in entertainment.
If they were going to copy AC-DC's ride-through-the-city-concert motif, they could have at least put some bagpipes in the song.
