Day 1

To some people it seemed as if they had already gone through the same process before. During the entire day the people had been voting to decide who could possible be the infamous rebel Black Hood. In the end of the day one person got the most votes. Sir The Celtic Viking was quite surprised to see his name being mentioned the most.
"You can't be serious? I have always been a loyal subject to the crown! I can't believe my eyes!" The guards were moving to capture him but he turned towards the people. He had a very emotional speech and once he finished the people turned to their king and asked him to show mercy and spare The Celtic Vikings life. King BSmith, who was also deeply moved by the speech, agreed and The Celtic Viking was released.
As the last sunlight disappeared behind the mountains the people left from the city center to make preparations for the night.

Night 1

While most people went into their homes or into the nearby Inn one person headed the other way. Being named as the new Castle Guard, Ishmael went to the barracks to get his stuff. After some time looking for anything useful he left the barracks. On his way to his post he heard some footsteps behind him but as he turned around... there was nothing. This happened several times until he managed to see a dark figure behind him when he again turned around. Quickly he grabbed his crossbow and aimed the person behind him.
"Come out or I will kill you!" shouted Ishmael.
"Ha.." was the only sound that he receved in responce. The dark figure strated to move towards him.
"Stop! I .. I will kill you! I mean it!" yelled Ishmael again.
But the his attacker moved closer.. he was still mostly hidden in the shadows but Ishmael just couldn't wait longer and released the bolt from his crossbow..
The only sound he heard was footsteps getting closer and his bolt hitting a wooden object. Without hesitation Ishmael tried to reload but that his attacker was quicker he grabbed his pitchfork. However, it was too late. The last thing he saw was his attacker stabbing him with his sword into his throat.
He fell to the ground.. lifeless..
A pair of eyes from the shadows saw the entire fight. Silently the owner of those eyes retreated into the night.
