Seriously though, I'm not a big fan of political quizzes in general. The one in the original "political positions" thread started by EMFM was the best one I've ever seen, and even it was flawed in my opinion. Even though the questions tend to be pretty abstract the socio-political situation in your country inevitably colors your perception of the questions. Conventional wisdom says that some countries are more right wing or more left wing than others, but that doesn't even begin to explain the problem. A good test would, at least, distinguish between "principled questions" that are more or less universal and more pragmatic questions, where answers tend to have stronger local flavour. I didn't see the test mentioned in the OP before Pharaoh edited but I'm guessing that it didn't live up to this standard.
