Post Greece's Golden Dawn needs a Shower

"Talk show host Giorgos Papadakis ran over to Kasidiaris, attempting to calm him down. But he turned on Kanelli, who appeared to throw a newspaper at him.
Kasidiaris hit Kanelli three times - with hard right-left-right slaps to the sides of her head." www.smh.com.au

Very manly to loose ones cool and assault two women on national television.

He and his party need to be seriously reviewed by the Greeks. Better now then sell ones national debt for ones soul.

Just because he is a Feminist is not a bad thing. Women should not be treated any differently to men. Which gender he hit should not be an issue. Equality cuts both ways.

Yeah it is. BUT with how bad things are in Greece anything but hung parliaments are less than likely. Unless some kind of leftie coalition emerges next time, I'm thinking Greeks are going have elections monthly until the state implodes.

True enough, but when thing get the way they are in Greece, reason becomes a casualty. Not to get all Godwin, there is a reason Germany doesn't use a full proportional representation system. Which Greece does. It's major flaw is that in hard times when VERY un-popular action has to be taken for the nations well being. You get this type of dead lock.

I think he got a little excited and left out either modern or current fascism. As they are fueled by the EU. Speaking as an outside observer.

Oh yes it is, they knew they had messed with number but they let them in anyway because more Europe is teh bomb for europhiles just because it's more Europe. Now the ordinary Greek has no future, and when people have no future they resort to extremes and in the end to violence. And Golden Dawn is pretty extreme. And violent. Creating the Weimar republic all over again, just a matter of doing it long live the EU? Now all we need is hyperinflation that makes the little they have left useless and you did a really good job at making every mistake you could possibly make

Look at these sweethearts, they are on the way to a nearby factory to dust of foreign immigrants, nothing to see here move along http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U_wu9Y_vzxc

There was widespread suspicion that Greece had skewed the numbers in order to qualify for joining the Euro. However, a poor precedent had been set with Italy's entry and so the Greeks were allowed in. The difference is that Italy used creative accounting specifically to qualify at the moment that counted, whereas in Greece the dubious bookkeeping both predated the event and continued long afterwards.

Here's a new thought for you: maybe instead of your recurring mantra of the EU being responsible for everything that's wrong in the world, the Greek government is the one to blame for the fact that the Greek government manipulated their statistics. Of course the fallout is affecting the rest of Europe as well and there's no doubt that we shot ourselves in the foot by allowing them in, but Greece has no-one to blame for its own problems but itself.

As for the neo-nazis: it's a homegrown movement in a country that has a long history of not being particulary tolerant to begin with. It's not surprising that these jerks manage to get more votes than usual in Greece's current state. But the EU did not vote them in, nor is it responsible for the climate in which these guys manage to attract votes.
