Caesar in the senate room comes to mind. I think one side was completely unharmed while the other had ~46 stab wounds. Maybe not what you were looking for though?
Completed Campaigns:
Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
Current Campiagns:
Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria
donated by Brennus for attention to detail.
what about carrhae? where abouts would that go on the list? I know it doesnt have as many casualties as some battles listed here such as cannae and Aquae Sextiae but the entire roman force was destroyed aswell and by a force of 10 000 Parthians. How large was a parthian army anyway was 10 000 the normal size??
Arjos mentioned Paneion, but I think that was a pretty regular defeat, if decisive. I mean getting cataphracts charging in your rear will leave your army quite butthurt, but...

hmm yeh i was wondering about the hellenistic wars. It seemed that even though they had really large battles such as raphia and ipsos they didnt really destroy the other person's army. At Raphia it was a full rout of the Seleucids yet they lost like 8-10 000 men out of the 70 000
The battle line covered an area of 3-4 km and only 10.000 survivors managed to take refuge in Sidon...
The rest of the army was abandoned, completely encircled...
It must have been an engagement on the scale of Raphia; also let's not forget that day signed the end of Ptolemaic rule in the Levant...
In the following years Ptolemaios V didn't send any support to Roma, in my view his military force had been cut drastically (Skopas was sent to recruit more mercenaries, in order to face a possible invasion of Egypt) and couldn't afford foreign expeditions and just dealt with rebellions (which started an offensive in the aftermath of Paneion)...

Even if you discount the excaggeration, all major engagements of the Senatus Populusque Romanus (excluding Bythinian allies) versus Pontos and Artaxiad Hayasdan in the Mithridatic wars. And don't forget Pharnaces, Veni, vidi vici!
