    Default Help- Laptop critique.

Ok guys so after tons of issues and poor management by myself my old laptop is falling apart and I am going to try to get a new one before school starts up again. I want to game a bit but nothing heavy, no FPS mostly strategy games like CrusaderKings, EU3. stuff like that. Tops a little mount and blade or some DOW. I dont have issues with lowering graphics (I still play old MS-DOS games) so take that into account. Just looking at power mostly and the rigs ability to cool itself. Also graphics card since Had a ton of trouble with my old rig graphically.

    I used to have a Inspiron17r

My first option so far is this one. I was wondering what everyone thought of it?

    enovo IdeaPad Y570 (08623TU) Notebook Intel Core i7 2670QM(2.20GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 1333 500GB HDD 5400rpm DVD±R/RW NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M

Also if you know of any decent gaming rigs for cheaper than this please let me know because this is a little pricey for me right now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the AMD Fusion laptops are a steal, and they can game. And they are (relatively) cheap.

    Read up.

    Toshiba Satellite P755D-S5378 - A8-3500M 2.4 GHz - 640 GB HDD / 5400 rpm - 15.6 in 1366 x 768 - 6 GB RAM - Fusion X2 f

What do you think of that one Lemur. Are there any blinding flaws with it I am not noticing? The Processor and ram looks good to me, i do not know too much about graphics cards though so if you could shedf some light on that. It aparently is 600 bucks which would be a dream.

Glancing at some user reviews, nope, it looks like a solid piece of laptop. The main criticism seems to be battery life, but I don't honestly know what people expect sometimes. If you put this Toshiba into "eco" mode it will go 4 hours between charges. What do users expect?

    -edit-

The AMD A8-3500M looks quite lovely. Good find!
