"The next stage is melee ashigaru. Chosokabe only has two, and they are hiding in the back of the bows. It will be nice if we can induce a change in their formation."

"Does that mean our Cavalry will approach from the side of their formation?"

"Not bad! Now I name you the acting captain of the Naginata Warrior Monk Cavalry. Go and lead the unit, then!"

Note: The stuck unit appeared to be cheering, which usually happens when a unit has wiped out their enemy. But it has not defeated anything.

"My lord, Chosokabe has adapted a new formation! It is very compact, with Bow units first, followed by three lines of melee. Their taisho stays in the back."

"Hm... this is a very troublesome formation called "Turtle's Shell". The bow units are very active - it is hard to draw out melee without getting shot at."

"What should I do?"

"Circle around and appraoch their formation from the back. Keep away from the bows until you approach the prey."

My lord! Chosokabe Kunichika is coming at me!"

"Keep a short distance and lead him back!"

30. When our cavalry bait gets very close to the enemy taisho, there is a chance to draw him out. This is the king of preys! Maintain a short distance to keep him on the hook!

"My lord took the prey and made a large circle around the enemy... taking Bait Tactics to a new level!"

Twenty Four. The Samurai Sacrifice

"My lord, Chosokabe has nothing but samurai left!"

"Too bad I can't make them adapt a new formation. Hm... let the Bow Ashigaru try!"

"Chosokabe sent some Katana Samurai forward - like a volunteer to take the arrows. A sacrifice.

"Here is a good spot to safely shoot at the Katana Samurai and avoid drawing out Bow Samurai."

"Good!"

31. Sometimes a few samurai unit breaks free from the formation to face our cavalry. Find a safe spot to shoot at them. Lure them back with the bow infantry, but not the cavalry - the prey will turn back if a cavalry leads it.

"Bow Ashigaru, don't run that fast!"

"My lord, the prey turned back..."

"That's right. They won't follow me all the way back. Only an infantry bait works on them."

"How about trying it again, my lord?"

"Argh... it is too tedious to draw out samurai with bow ashigaru this way. Victory is already certain. Let's proceed to the final clash!"

Note: I rushed to the final stage because my play time was running out.

Wait, that's us, too. But we can't do War Cry like them for some reason.

Was is declared by Amako the treacherous,
Who with Ikko had no previous business.
Chugoku is falling under the dangerous,
Unless the pure land expel the faithless.
