after a brief delay, i submit to you the poll which will chose the winner for the Arena of Kings contest. Vote away and may the best game win! (PS voting for one's own game is allowed, since players have submitted multiple entries and may like one more than their others)

Thanks guys! I've been working overtime for the past few days, until 2 AM or 12 AM on most nights. I'm going to the beach tomorrow and on Saturday i'm going to Mark Knight's gig in Burgas, but next week I'll look into setting this up.

The announcement comes a little late, because it took some persuasion to convince Myth, that he could accept the victory, even though he himself has been the originator of this contest . However, the staff agrees that he truly deserves to be proclaimed the winner for his idea has clearly obtained the most votes from everyone who participated in the open-for-all voting stage. And indeed, Vikingetid is a great idea, and I certainly look forward to playing it.

As for prizes, one of our administrators will shortly prepare a new and shiny badge for you to show in your profile. In addition to that you may choose a unique bonus for one of your next Throne Room games.

You may chose out of the following:
- A fullstack of random quality units spawned at a requested location via admin console.
- Double starting gold for a new game OR a 15,000 florin cash injection at any point in the game.
- Two turns of immunity from enemy hostilities for the player's faction.


Choose wisely, and enjoy the benefits.

But certainly, there is far more to it than just winning a little bonus. The true winner of this competition is the Throne Room community, who has now not just one, but a whole number of new game ideas to try out and play. And this is the true prize that we all have won from this contest.
