    Default Mad Skillz

I got 'em. My cat caught a fat mouse today as I was outside showing off my Mosin Nagant and its spike-like bayonet to some friends. She let the mouse go and it went scurrying away across the lawn. I saw it happen from the corner of my eye, and I turned around and threw the bayonet at the mouse. I pinned it into the ground by its head. Direct hit with a very unbalanced metal spike from nearly 10 yards away on a fast moving, tiny target, when I was taken by surprise. I've always been pretty good with throwing weapons, but wondered how well I would do against a moving target without much time to react. I guess I know now.

I am the mighty hunter! :P

Bet that mouse was heading towards one of those gyms for fat mice. If he'd have been in shape, you'd have never hit him.

My cat Blitzkrieg caught a mouse last week and had no idea what to do with it. I had no other choice but wrapping it up with toilet paper to avoid hurting it and released it to the big bad world

lol, I usually pick em up by the head with a big pliers, bring em over the toilet, then crush their heads and flush em down. It kills them a lot quicker than my cats would (it is nearly instant, and my cats love to toy with them forever, and often release them with several parts missing), and I get to dispose of the body without making a mess. :P

Never hit one with a throw-able weapon but I must've killed quite a few with airguns. I used to go plinking in the fields during holidays.

I just can't kill something that cute. Neither can my cat it kept picking it up very carefully before using my appartment as a flipper-table.

I just can't kill something that cute in that way... Crushing deaths are always some of the most gruesome to me... Especially ones that only crush something like the head or lower body...

Or you could let it go. It hasn't done anything to hurt you, so let it be.

I could say a lot about hunting for sport, but all I'll say is this. It's a ****ing disgrace.

What about killing cockroaches for sport? Or Mosquitos?

It has nothing to do with hunting for sport. It has to do with rodents coming into my house, shitting in my hand towels, eating food from my stove and table, etc, etc.
I don't want to get whatever diseases they have. Also, if I do not get rid of them, my cats will, and they will eat them, and then they will get worms. Also, my neighbors some times use rat poison, and my cats have eaten poisoned mice before and died and nearly died. I will kill a rodent any chance I get for the sake of me and my cats. I'm sorry if you think that is horrible and barbaric, but it is my house, and they don't have permission to live here.

I understand. It's just that the post you made about crushing their heads made it seem like you enjoyed it, and did it for recreation. I'm sorry for reacting that way. It's just that when one dedicates their life to protect animals, and makes it their career, one would feel quite angry to see that people still kill animals for fun.

I wasn't bragging, I was just suggesting to Frags a way to dispose of them.

Ha I'll do it my way, in my defence they make drop of at least 50 centimeter when I release them, that is pretty hardcore imho. You should see the look in their eyes (absolutely adorable)
