End of Night Three

Someone was still awake, when the man entered his tent. He pulled out his knife to defend himself, before the man told him to relax, he was here to guard. The shadow crept up on its target, sword at the ready, when suddenly a few loose rocks slipped from under his feet and rolled into the tent. The low murmur of voices silenced and a blade was drawn. “Who goes there?” The murderer sighed inwardly and went back to his camp.

Meanwhile, Jarrema was sleeping in his tent. He was a relatively rich man, inheriting a lot of wealth from his father, a travelling merchant. He had brought along his dusty old chest for safekeeping and it laid beside him as he snored. The man measured out his potion, to last exactly half an hour, and poured it into Jarrema’s mouth. He would be dead to the world for half an hour. Enough to get the job done. The man opened Jarrema’s mouth when he was sure that Jarrema would not be waking up. Then he pulled up the dagger and cut Jarremas tongue out from his mouth and threw it to the side. Then he opened up Jarrema’s chest with the key on his necklace. Unlocking it, he was almost suffocated in dust. Meanwhile, the blood from Jarrema was starting to pool up. The man turned Jarremas head to let it out, he had to be alive for this final act. After the man had gathered enough dust, he placed it in Jarrema’s mouth.

He waited. Eventually Jarrema came to, and tried to scream, but he had no tongue and the man was forcing the dust down his throat. Jarrema struggled, but eventually gave up, the potion made him to weak to fight back. His eyes stared at the killer, until eventually they stopped moving.

“Another one bites the dust.” The man smirked and then left the tent.

Arjos and Andres meanwhile stumbled into the camp again, stating the same life time that Monty did. Meanwhile, Monty had shrivelled up and withered. He would not be coming back again.

Matthias studied the books and maps in his tent. He knew there was a split ahead that eventually rejoined. He knew from the stories that to get further they would need to split up. Maybe they would learn about the fate of the other adventurers?. He called the Captain in, and mentioned his plan. The Captain was first apprehensive then, eventually he agreed.

Then the plan was put into action.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The town will be split up into two groups, one under the command of the Duke, and another amongst the command of the Captain. Each town may only vote to lynch members of their group.

48 hours for this phase to allow WoG borderline players to post and for people to adjust.
