All of these places cost thousands of dollars.
I know lots of people who have done this, and still none of them are racers. The people who go to these courses are a mixture of hobbyists and people who dream of racing, and the "graduates" and "certificates" are a dime a dozen. You will need more than a course or two to get hired on to drive, unless you plan on buying your own car and hiring a team and finding sponsors and doing the amatuer circuit
If you have any racing teams in your area, go try to get an entry level job to get inside the company. Work as a clerk, or a runner, or whatever they need. Learn how the system works. You would probably learn a lot more from those people than you would at a cookie cutter course that churns out certificates

Ja Mata, Tosa.
The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
ps i forgot to add that i'm canadian and that i have no way of getting to the states :P
Then you should avoid motorsports altogether, because Canadians cannot drive. In fact, I didn't even think Canadians were allowed access to the internet, much less membership at the .org. I need to read over the FAQ again, then I will probably report you.
Google is your friend dude
** also, if you have no way to get to the states, ergo you cannot afford the trip, then how will you afford a racing school? These places are not colleges, they do not give out scholarships and you cannot use federal financial aid for them
