Well, Csatary was not German, nor is there any real evidence that he was/is antisemitic. The Hungarians were under incredible pressure to accede to German demands, lest they be occupied themselves - which they eventually were. We know now how that pressure translated down through the royal police both from government and German officials, but you won't read it in the testimony of any of the post-war kangaroo courts. Context is everything, and you know if a man ends up on any Simon Wiesenthal list, it has already been thrown out the window in favor of publicity.INB4 PJs usual lines of:
